Current EVs have an average battery range of around 400 kilometres but the technology is advancing so rapidly that some new models can drive for over 600 kilometres on a single charge.<\/p>\n<p>The average Australian drives 38 kilometres per day so an EV owner can go for at least 10 days without a recharge.
